These full-disk H-alpha images are taken at Kanzelhoehe Solar Observatory once every day if weather permits. The images are taken using our Überwachungsinstrument (patrol instrument). For further technical details about the data aquisition please click here.
The images (1008x1016 pixels, 1 byte) are centered and rotated (Solar-North is up) and saved in different formats. The filenames match the filenaming convention for SOHO synoptic data:
For future a flat-fielding and automatic exposure-time control is planned.
